How does First Day approach pediatric and adult home support?

We believe in evidence-based practices and procedures and use them to establish reliable, consistent, and effective care for each client we serve.

Does First Day provide support services outside of the home?

We want every client to have the chance to leave home and attend school or events. Our caregivers are trained in mobile care and can travel with clients who require close supervision as they attend class or other activities.

How can I stay informed when my family member is receiving First Day Homecare services?

Our state-of-the art mobile app offers free family access, so you can easily see the caregiving schedule and any notes about how your loved one is doing throughout care shifts.

What if I am not happy with my services?

If you’re not happy with the services we’re providing, we want to know! Call our office to let us know what concerns you have. Our clients have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and the right to voice concerns about the care they are receiving.

Will the care workers in my home be supervised?

Yes!  All care staff assigned to work in your home will be supervised by a health professional in accordance with the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) standards.
