Visitor Policy

  1. All visitors will sign in upon entering the office. Sign-ins should include the date, time in, visitor name, and purpose of the visit.

  2. Solicitors who do not have a scheduled meeting with the Agency should not be allowed beyond the reception area of the Agency, and should be asked to return once they have a scheduled meeting.

  3. With exception to instances where visitors remain in the reception area only, all internal Agency administrative staff will be made aware when a visitor is in the office to ensure that confidential information is safeguarded from the visitor as needed.

  4. Any visitors requesting to conduct surveys or audits where access to sensitive Agency information is needed will show a photo ID before being allowed access. The Agency Administrator will then provide authorization before confidential information is shared.

UTAH ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Agency’s employees will verbally promote and educate visitors in the client’s home about the importance of infection control standards as needed. Visitor infection control standards and practices will be the same as those that are followed by Agency employees. Personal protective equipment will be made available by the Agency to visitors as needed.

While a client is receiving Agency services in their home, they will be allowed to designate an individual as a primary visitor, and that primary visitor shall have no limitations regarding duration and frequency in visitation.

Visitation for individuals who are non-primary visitors in the client’s home will have imposed the following limitations:

  • Duration of a Single Visit: Four (4) hours
  • Number of Visits per Day: Two (2) visits
  • Number of Visitors in the Home at One Time: Three (3) visitors

During occurrences where a primary and non-primary visitor in the client home have been determined to violate the visitation policy, procedures, impedes services, or is disruptive to the services being provided, the Agency may choose to limit or suspend the visitation.
